A Legislator with distinction, Hon. Segun Olulade stepped into the 8th Assembly with vigour and passionate mood to ensure his constituency Epe II becomes the best among others through his qualitative representation in the Lagos State House of Assembly. As a second term Lawmaker, Hon. Segun Olulade chronicled considerable experiences in his first term as member of the 7th Assembly (2011-2015) and Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Communication, Security and Strategy. Among his many unusual achievements are:
- Made valuable contributions and motion on the floor of the chamber which facilitated developments for the State
- Drastic improvement of the image of the Lagos Assembly via the media
- Rejuvenation of the official publication of the House (The Legislator) to a world-class standard
- Facilitated mutual interaction between the Lagos Parliament and the Civil Society groups
