The Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, in partnership with, Multichoice Nigeria Limited, proud owner of DSTV Nigeria and GOTV, the satellite cable TV service, has concluded plan to commence the much-awaited cable installation training on Monday, September 5th, 2016.
This resolution was made after an hour-meeting between the Ministry and Management of the partnering company, Multichoice Nigeria Limited, at the Ministry’s conference room in Alausa, Ikeja on Monday, August 29th, 2016
After the meeting, the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Pharm (Mrs) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, noted that the delay in the commencement of the training, which had initially scheduled to commence first week of August, is due to some uncontrollable circumstances and variables.
“The two-week training programme would begin unfailingly by next Monday, September 5th, 2016. For convenience of our prospective participants, this training would be held at two different youth centres in Lagos, Ikeja Youth Centre (Sport Centre) located at Oluwa-Lehinmu Street, by Balogun Bus-Stop, Ikeja, and Ikorodu Youth Centre, Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu simultaneously on the same days”, the Commissioner assured.
She urged the shortlisted participants to start out early in order to arrive their respective centres on time each day.
