Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) has handed over two persons to security operatives for further investigations for tendering fake documents for the purpose of obtaining the State Residency Card.
The Assistant Director, Public Affairs Unit of the Agency, Mr. Babatunde Adele made the disclosure while representing the General Manager at a meeting with Security Operatives and warned Lagosians that it is an offence to tender fake documents for LASRRA registration.
Adele enjoined residents of the State to come out and register to enable government update its demographic data for efficient planning and proper allocation of resources in the State.
He reaffirmed that the ongoing registration at all Local Government Councils, Local Council Development Areas and LASRRA Head office at No 4, Registration Close, off Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, is free of charge and compulsory for all the residents of Lagos State.
